“YouthLink Scotland partnered with My Life My Say to run a series of Democracy Cafés across Scotland with young people on Brexit. Working with MLMS has been a positive experience and gave us the opportunity to feed into the wider report by LSE and the APPG on A Better Brexit for Young People. The support we received from MLMS to carry out the focus groups was excellent. They provided us with the necessary resources, as well as staff support, making it easy to take part. The enthusiasm and dedication to involving young people in Brexit demonstrated by each team member have made MLMS a pleasure to work with.”
Our Democracy Café events have been recognised by many high-profile institutions as a unique and innovative methodology for consulting youth views.
We offer consultancy services to Governments, corporates and third sector organisations to help provide invaluable insight from young people, thus ensuring their products and services are inclusive of young people.
Clients include the UK Government, Mayor of London, Plexal, Resolution Foundation, British Council, European Commission, Turkish Airways, US Embassy and many other leading institutions.
Social Inclusion Unit
In October 2018, MLMS launched the Social Inclusion Unit (SIU) to provide counsel for the public, business and third sector organisations on how they can deliver more inclusive services and products.
The SIU is underpinned by a partnership with the leading market research agency Opinium and Plexal, whose role is to provide the qualitative and quantitative data that substantiates the unit’s work.
The SIU will be launching its first engagement with the Deputy Mayor of London for Business Rajesh Agrawal on the 4th April 2019.
