Building Bridges: A Youth Vision for a Common Future
Time & Location
About the Event
Where is our society heading? Could things be different? Our generation is speaking up.
Now more than ever we need to be addressing divisive issues in our politics. We need to change the way we handle contentious issues by using open and honest debate, deliberation and discussion.
Taking place at the top of the stunning Canary Wharf tower, the aim of this event is to discuss how to reunite our divided country in the wake of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU with young people, social media influencers, key stakeholders and public figures.
Between inspiring spoken word performances, the event will also include one of our award-winning Democracy Cafes, which brings together young people from diverse backgrounds to discuss issues that affect them in an inclusive safe space.
We remain one Kingdom in the formal sense, but few would say we’re united. It's time to look beyond Brexit and build a nation that we can all be proud to call home, for the sake of our generation and the future.
This event is free and open to all, but spaces are limited. Sign up now!
