It's time to install the future.
Welcome to v.16, a national campaign to lower the voting age to 16 in all UK elections, led by My Life My Say. v.16 is not an overhaul, or a revolution. It's a necessary update. A refresh to our democracy, delivering a once in a generation extension to the franchise and building trust between young people and politicians.
v.16 is no ordinary Votes at 16 campaign. By drawing on a rich history of Votes at 16 movements across the UK, v.16 is ready to install a new update to our democracy and push Votes at 16 across the line.
With the backing of Youth Parliament, NUS, Electoral Reform Society and many more, v.16 is building a coalition across the UK to rebuild trust between young people and politicians.
